Completed the tenth page of Almost September.
I enjoyed making it. Go figure.
I was planning on buying a domain to host all these projects, but it's lookin' to fall through.
I'll still updating on here, myspace, and drunk duck(where you can find pretty much eberything in order).
Just felt like doing a journal. Not to much to say.

Cloverf

ield!
I watched it this morning, and I seriously have no idea why so many people bitch about it.
Its probably the best effin monster movie ever.
my co-worker is a self proclaimed horror movie buff. She claims she's seen 'em all.
She said it didn't even stand up to the godzilla movies.
I guess I think about it differently though.
The godzilla movies were fun when I was little.
But seriously. The writing was horrible. There was no continuity. The actors were horrible. And even for the era the effects were poor.
I think most people argue like her (my coworker) about horror flicks because their just elitists...or they want to have something in common with something 'original.'
Godzilla was original. Alot of old horror pics are very original/influential. But so is Cloverfield. I just don't see any reason for hating it because its new.

Comics!

Updates----------------------------------------------
Almost September is coming along nicely. So far I've gotten a positive feed back for it, despite it being pretty new.
I've been really busy with work and home life so the other projects have kinda slid.
Nothing new to report for Forever.
The other spinoff, Something September is also coming along alright, but I'm wary of getting into certain stories to avoid spoilers in the other stories.
Business and Pleasure is there nagging at the back of my mind. I need to work on it.
At the end of the month I'll be investing in a domain to house all the stories in a central site. I won't be taking down the Drunk Duck or the Webcomics Nation mirrors though.

Other News--------------------------------------------
Go see the new 'Hulk' movie. It totally rocks. So did Ironman. But...
With Marvel's new film direction of streamlining production, and tailoring the movies to fit the way that they do, I can already forsee the inevitable decline in quality. This is pretty much based on my pesimism and the ';Punisher' trailer.
Mostly based on the new punisher trailer.

Also. I'm posting a few new pieces of art and comic pages to the myspace and my deviant art.

It's been so long since I've written a journal on DA.
Update: Things are good. Life is hard, but love is sweet and the sun continues to rise. I can't complain.

I've been workin' hard on my lil comic projects and I think I"m getting better at a good pace. I've managed to get back in touch with a few of my old webcomic friends, though I'm so busy between family and my job that I tend to spend my free time just drawing and not writing to others....mmm run on sentences.
Any way, I want ya'll to checkout what I've been working on lately.

So far I have Forever September's first book done and readable. And a preview for my next book Business and Pleasure. Check it and tell me what you think!

Thats all for now,
peace out!
